About Agate Dental
Dr. Claire Brewer founded Agate Dental to run the kind of office she wanted to work in, one where patients are listened to before they are treated. After years in busy clinics, she wanted visits with room to talk.
Today four general dentists share the practice. Each has an area of particular interest, and each gives you the same things: an exam, a plain explanation and a written plan.
Our name comes from agate, a stone whose layers show once it is polished. Visit by visit, that is how we think about your care.
You leave with the treatment, the visits it takes and what it will cost, in writing.
Agree on a hand signal and we stop. Ask about numbing and about nitrous oxide before you start.
Digital X-rays only when your dentist decides they are needed, and photos so you can see what we see.
Your dentist explains every option before treatment starts.
